CSB … Social Support Savings Scheme :
A new savings bank account in the nature of a No Frills Account. The salient features of the scheme are appended.
Eligibility : Any person above 18 years of age.
Minimum Balance : Initial remittance of Rs 10/-at the time of opening the account. The minimum balance required to be maintained as per category of the branch is given in the chart below.
No. of transactions : Maximum of 10 transactions in a calendar month( deposits and withdrawals combined).For transactions in excess of the maximum limit, service charges @ Rs 5/-will be charged per transaction.
Cheque book facility : No cheque books will be issued. On specific request from the customer, cheque book not exceeding 10 leaves will be issued against collection of charges as given in the chart below.
ATM cards : All accounts opened with ATM-enabled branches will be provided with free ATM card facility.
Switch over facility :Upon request from the customer, CSB…Social Support Savings Scheme account can be converted to ordinary SB account.
Availability : All branches of the bank.
