CSB introduces ‘CSBPAY’ – a multi functional BHIM app powered by NPCI that will reside on your smart phone (once you have downloaded) and will enable you to send/receive/collect payments in a jiffy!

CSB is among the very first set of banks in the country to go live on BHIM platform.

You can opt to send/receive money using various credentials like – mobile number, UIDAI/Aadhaar Number, BHIM virtual address apart from the usual account no & IFSC based transfers. So, no worries about revealing your account related details to others.

An exciting feature of the app is that you can link and transact using all your bank accounts which may be in different banks, provided that bank is live in BHIM platform.

Type of Transactions

• Send money (to friends, relatives, other BHIM users whom you owe money)
• Receive money (from friends, relatives & other BHIM users who owe you money)
• Initiate collect request (if you are not comfortable in asking your friend or relative or anyone who owes you money, just initiate a collect request!)
• Pay to merchants (where a vendor initiates a collect request and you pay the money)

How to install CSB BHIM App?

All that you need is a bank account and a smart phone. It is as simple as that!

Step 1: Download CSB-BHIM App from Google play store. This is how the app looks like.

Step 2: You will be prompted to verify your mobile number, update profile and set your virtual BHIM address (e.g. xyz@csbpay), followed by setting up your secret 4 digit login PIN to login to the app.

Step 3: Connect your bank account through pay/collect/manage accounts menu. (Bank account means any bank account of yours which is active/operative). This step is mandatory to perform any transactions using CSB-BHIM app

Step 4: Once you link your account you will be prompted to set your 4 digit MPIN (akin to a transaction/profile password) or click on ‘Register MBanking/Set BHIM credentials’ to create your MPIN (using your ATM Debit Card).

Step 5: You are all set to go! Start transactions using CSB-BHIM !!
